I absolutely can't wait either! I've found a site that seems to have the file around 5:30am (GMT+1) so I'm going to get up at 5:30 to check if I can get it ;D. I feel like I'm turning crazy...

My thoughts on the show: * As a George Clooney fan I, of course, didn't think there was enough of him and Carol. I am glad they ended with the two of them, though. It reminded me of "Such Sweet Sorrow" when I was upset that George didn't show up earlier in the show but then his one line was more than enough. I wish they would have done a little bit more background on them, but I guess this isn't the Doug and Carol show. But it should be. * Now that I got that out of the way BENTON AND CARTER!!! SQUEE!!! When Benton walked into his room when Carter was in the bathroom and started barking out his name...omg flashbacks!! I thought it was really awesome how they had Benton help save Carter without even touching a scalpel. They are incredible together. "YOU married a sister?" * Oh, I was bummed that Doug didn't ask about Carter at all. I literally screamed at the tv "CARTER!" when he was throwing out names. I know that was written so that Doug and Carol didn't know about Carter or whatever since one of the organs was going to him, but still!!! I'm bummed they didn't have him remember Carter. Although, having the girls tell Anspaugh Doug Ross says hi was pretty funny. Okay, my thoughts on the show are pretty one track, this is my big day sorry, but I can't wait to hear what everyone else thinks about the show. This was supposed to be the finale, right?

lol @ Benton telling Carter to stop being a baby. They were so classic!
Can you believe Reece is 13?!?! That's insane! He's still little baby Reece to me.

Benton definitely saved carter's life - or at least his kidney. ;D
I’m glad that neither Carter nor the heart patient died.
I didn't like that so many stories were crammed into this episode.
I think that they could have put abandoned baby and elderly couple in another episode and not have detracted from this episode. In fact, I think that would have made it better because there would have been more time for details in the Clooney and carter pieces.
I thought the opening of the show with Carter not wanting to call Kem and then ending with him calling Kem was good but not great.
I still think that this was handled poorly and I don't see the finale being able to change my mind about this.
Overall, it was a good episode for me but not a great one.

I'll certainly need to re-watch to get a fair opinion, but I must say I'm disappointed with 'so little' Carter. I feel like there was hardly anything more than the leaked scene... I loved seeing Doug/Carol, Susan Sarandon was great, but I really really could have done without the Banfiel/baby story and the old couple. It just wasted time! I'm a bit mad at them right now for rushing Carter story so much... No indication why he got a kidney so fast, and why oh why didn't they show Carter's face when he learns there's a kidney for him? I wanted to see his reaction! They definitely under-used him in that one. I wanted him to talk more with Benton... He's given Fentanyl in post-op and they don't even mention a thing of his drug addiction? And what the hell was that body part where they put betadine on? First, it wasn't Noah's body. Second, Carter is supposed to have a laparotomy scar!!! If they didn't take Noah's belly, couldn't they at least have found a double with a scar? Okay, the positive point: Post-op acting was awesome! My god, how does he do a voice like that?

Well, maybe not so little. I guess I expected too much! But I think it was less of him than in "What we do". Little highlight: Noah first in the credits still ;D ! right before Clooney and Margulies.

Merci Claire ;D Wow. I think I,m still trembling. I knew Carter made it, as we all did, but it was still nail biting on the operating table. The post op scene was tremendous. I did think it odd that Doug doesn't ask after Carter, but I think it was so that the comment at the end that the Kidney went to "some doctor" was meant to have the ironic "if only he knew" twist to close with. If he had remembered Carter , it would have been difficult for Neela and Sam to conceal his condition. Even so, it wasn't very realistic that Doug would have forgotten, and Carter was the one doctor who provided continuity between Doug and Carol and Neela and Sam. Sloppy writing to achieve a kind of witty joke at the end, I thought. It was good to see Doug and Carol, though, and I enjoyed George's and Juliana's performance together. I wish there had been even more of Carter, of course, but him with Benton was priceless and Noah's post op pain and relief were so beautifully done. I can see now that Carter didn't want to contact Kem until he had good news for her. That makes more sense now Be still my heart
