I'm worried that we're going to see few Carter's scenes in this one....

mmm.. I don't know. The promos (both Canada and US) are quite a lot about Carter (though promos are misleading ) I feel like the last two episodes were a slow re-introduction to Carter. I imagine the next two should be a lot more about him. But maybe I shouldn't expect too much, or I'll be disappointed again .

The promos are full of Carter, but the synopsis doesn't seem Carter centric: a lot of Sam and Neela instead, plus the Morris's girlfriend storyline.....but maybe Carter plays a part in this last storyline.

Yes, I really dont' care at all about Sam's mother story, or Neela with Brenner, and I'm annoyed that Brenner's story is presented mainly from the point of view of his relationship with Neela. She is really my least favorite character on the show right now. And the story with Brenner, with his childhood past, is really good I think. The writers could do better on that, and David Lyons is really awesome in the role! I much prefer seeing Brenner interact with Morris or other male characters. But maybe that's just me, I never really cared for any female character on ER.

In Italy we're watching season 14 and Brenner is going to appear only in the last episodes, but I can say that I quite like what I've seen of him in season 15. I like the actor and character. But I don't care about him and Neela. And I don't care about Neela and Ray. But my least favourite character is Gates. I can't stand the character and the actor. I think Stamos has nothing to do with ER. And IMO he can't hold a candle to Noah as for acting skills or class. And I much prefer seeing Carter intearact with both of them than with Gates But I really like the scene in T-Minus-6 where Carter snatches the ecograph out of Gates's hands

John telling Gates to shut up was the highlight of that episode I don't know but this episode sounds like very Carter centered...

John telling Gates to shut up was the highlight of that episode LoL!! yeah.. though I must say I found it a bit harsh, as well as his "so.. spare me" before even knowing what Gates was going to say. Let's hope so!

Please, someone says me what he said about Kem. It seems that he didn't tell her all the truth...

I'm getting the episode right now! I can't wait!! I wanted to not read any comments before watching it myself, but I couldn't help it . And now I'm a bit worried that the episode is really not much about Carter since I didn't see any comments about him . So he said something about Kem?

I told you. Unforuntally I know Zabel and Co. From IMDB Although he's told her that he has some "medical issues", he says that she doesn't know about his status and the severity of everything. He said that she is in Paris visiting family, and that he left the medical thing "kind of vague".

I just assumed that it was the only logical way to explain Kem's absence. Or she have seemed a cold pregnant dog. I like what his post. Let's hope there's more Carter than I guess.

Zabel is a world class idiot. Does he really expect everyone to believe that Kem wouldn't have at least tried calling carter? Or be worried about him by now? And yet she’s a caring person??? First, he ruined the show by focusing too much on abby. Now, he's ruining Carter's lovelife. My prediction is that Carter's lives and that his marriage fails. I know this isn’t a popular viewpoint, but Newton should never have signed on for this show. She’s too good to be treated like crap in the end.

I think there might have been phone calls between the two that weren't shown. I imagine he is in contact with her. He just doesnt' want to worry the hell out of her.
Now my little review, I just finished watching ;D.
It was quite a lot of Carter!!! more than I expected.
And I found the episode really really great. A good mix of drama and funny parts. And once again, it starts and ends with Carter ;D! The episode would have been really perfect if it hadn't been for the Sam and her mother scenes. Boring... I admit I fast-forwarded through them.
It starts with Carter being interviewed: awesome! He is nervous, seems annoyed to have to answer questions, he is not focusing well. Something is really not all good with him. Noah played that really great. And having him look straight at the camera doesn't come so often! I found it really awesome. His smile when saying "That sounds a little pretentious?". Aaahh.. he is so cute!
Then some trauma scenes: I was distracted by Carter all the time, looking less and less good, coughing, seemingly having a hard time to focus and to breathe. Until he collapses.
I loved how Morris and Gates took care of him. Asked if there was someone else than his nephrologist that he wanted to call: you can tell he is hesitating, torturing his mind about whether or not he should tell Kem.
And then they made him a lot sicker than I imagined! I was a bit upset that Morris and Gates didn't look more panicked than they were. It's Carter coding and you are doing CPR onto, people!!! I loved how Morris pushed away the med student from nephrology. ETA: from the promo, I would have thought that Morris doing CPR was on his girlfriend. I would never have imagined it was on Carter!
I loved that Gates talked about transplant options with Carter. And I loved the scene with Frank and Jerry! The home-made documentary they filmed was a great line of the episode. And they played old ER music at a point! something sounding really close to first seasons ;D!
Noah was awesome. His look while in the ambulance. You can really see in his eyes all what Carter is feeling and wondering.
His look in the end, after turning off the alarm, his smile, then worried face, it put a lot in question: what is he actually thinking?
I think I'll have more to say about the episode later on. I need to re-watch! I really liked it a lot! ;D
