A request for those of you with DVDs: any chance you could post clips of deleted scenes (well deleted Noah scenes, obviously) from different seasons? You know, if there's anything you can remember... And maybe the bloopers for different seasons? I have season 1, 2 and three... but most of what I can find on youtube for the newer seasons is horrible quality... And there are some I've never seen before! Like this deleted scene from Midnight-- You will have my eternal gratitude! (I have noticed Noah says "goddammit" a lot on the gag reels... Can't tell you how weird it feels to hear him cuss.)

I have season 1-9 dvds but they're not the original ones so no bloopers, but just the deleted scenes....unfortunaly the software that I used for the clips it doesn't work anymore (it was a trial version) but I'm working on this....so if and when I'll find a way to make clips again I'll work for you

Appreciate it, Raffy! If you tell me the name of the software, I can probably get you a copy that'll work. I'm watching season 9 now and oh man, those last few episodes are difficult to watch. We saw a really put-together, confident, strong Carter in the beginning of the season, then he loses his grandmother, Abby lets him down, and to see him completely lost at the end of the season is really disturbing. The last few episodes before Kisangani we really just get to see a tired, sad Carter who is so fed up with his life and everyone in it, that he doesn't think twice before agreeing to go on a suicide mission to Africa, because maybe that would give him a reason to live. And of course we all know Africa hasn't been too kind to him. "When Night Meets Day" is one of the most depressing episodes ever. At least for Carter, it's just one of those days where everything that can go wrong, does... cue self destruction. Left me in such an existential depression, I feel like curling up in a ball on the floor of a dark room. Just a little something I noticed though, with the very random 13-year-old-stabber storyline... See where we are? Curtain 3. It's like being in that room increases your chances of getting stabbed by 80%...

I haven't been around a lot recently and I'll be very busy in the next few weeks, but I guess I will find a bit of time to check what DVDs I have and to make clips of deleted scenes and bloopers... But I don't have all for sure ... Anna, indeed, the end of s9 is really depressing. IIRC, I think the spoilers for When Night Meets Day were saying that Carter would 'get stabbed' in curtain 3 in that episode, which made me go "wait? again? wth??? ", but it was just a little cut in the back... I guess the fact that that incident takes place in curtain 3 is just one more detail to add to Carter's horrible day...

Watching season 10. Apparently at some point after Carter's return from Africa Kem visits the hospital and annoys the hell out of everyone. And at another point, Carter has a board meeting where he manages to piss off his grandparents' colleagues, and his dad, by declaring he's donating- not even selling- the house to Northwestern. I don't remember these episodes AT ALL. Anyway, scenes I liked- (warning: Beard ahead) Kem visits the ER and gets on everyone's nerves. She's being too inquizitive and asking too many questions. And she orgnizes a vaccination clinic in the ER for tenants of a building suspected of being inflicted with Whooping Cough. Gotta love Weaver's "from now on, NOBODY goes to Africa" line. I can't decide whether this is sweet or scary. Can't think of anything other than chocolate and sex? Carter makes some financial choices and ruffles some feathers. "Are you back using drugs" ? And awww, they seem so happy with the baby and the crib and everything. Makes me want to punch someone, seriously. And from happy to devestated. Well, we all know Noah can act, but this scene- and this episode- were outstanding even for him. There's a general air of shock and numbness and confusion, and I love that his face speaks more than his words in this scene. Because this is about more than just losing the baby, it's about losing the chance of happiness. Being happy is such a rare thing for him. Now he's afraid it was all an accident, and he knows that it's probably over, and he can't break out of his shell of misery enough to comfort Kem. The look he gives his dad when he says "there are no words", but then keeps takling... yeah, sends shivers down my spine. Noah does "grief struck Carter" really well, something I guess the writers figured out early on. (also, give it time? GREAT advice, dad. Five years, is that enough time?)

Thanks Anna! That was a low blow... Really low... It's like his mom asking him "Are you going to blame me for taking drugs?" in Beyond Repair... Both quotes make it sound like his parents will never stop seeing him as an addict and it's always on top of their heads when talking with him, and they are going to mention it randomly, whatever he is trying to explain to them: Carter tries to explain to his mom that he would have liked his parents around when he got stabbed, his mom makes it about drugs... Carter took very long to deal with Gamma's death and try and figure out what to do with her money, his father disagrees with what he is doing and boom, it's because of drugs... It's sad, really... it shows how little they seem to know their son. They were never around for the bad times of his life. And that makes the scenes between Carter and his dad in Midnight really powerful . His dad is finally trying to be around. But at the same time, it's still kinda 'screwed'. His dad can try to be comforting, but maybe it's only because he can relate, because he lost a son too... Just as his mom finally showed some warmth and hugged him and told him she loved him when she realized he had been affected very much by Bobby's death too. They seem to have no clue about how to be there when it's about his own personal ordeals... Carter was so right to say "Bobby died, and I lost a mother...". He lost both parents actually. And what's incredibly sad is that history repeated itself. His son died, and he lost a wife... Why, oh why, did they make Carter's life so f***ing depressing? I guess that's why ... He is just amazing in that scene! (and in all Midnight..). Poor Michael Gross! He does a really good job, and the camera is on his face (not only profile I mean...) for what? 2 seconds in the whole scene...

Hmmm... I don't know about cast interviews from season 15, because I only really tuned in for the Noah episodes, but these two clips are always great to watch again. Thanks Jo!

I love all the video's here! (I'm new, so I'm catching up ) Waiting for news... let's watch some old ER . When I was reading this thread I suddenly remembered a scene in which Benton walks in on Carter and Abby Keaton. I always liked her (maybe just because they had to sneak around, somehow I always like that... ). Though I wasn't upset when she left, probably because Carter wasn't really upset. I wanted to post a video of that scene here, but I couldn't find one on YouTube. Then I thought, why not make it myself! I've never done that before, but with a little help from Picasa, it worked! (aren't you proud? ) I really like this scene, especially when Carter hold the book with the Pakistani guy in front of his face! Like Benton didn't know it was him, haha! The look on their faces! So here it is: my first uploaded video! (May many follow! ) X Lynn
