Someone is posting old/classic ER clips. This one is about Carter's first time in the OR. ;D
Don't you think Noah's voice changed throughout all those years?

Yes!!! I saw that one today too ;D. ER was so good in those days! The look on Benton's face with seeing Carter arriving, and how Carter looks all excited and focused and sensing the importance of the moment, all this to be kicked out just a few seconds later. This is so funny! And I saw another clip too by the same user on YouTube, about Carter's "I killed Santa"! This is hilarious too. Carter pacing behind Susan, looking so nervous. And yeah, his voice definitely changed A LOT!!! He sounded like a kid back then. I started watching back some old clips on YouTube not long ago, and at first I found his voice so high-pitched sometimes that I thought the clips were fast-forwarded a bit !!! But no, he just had a really less manly voice back then. It's incredible to think he's been Carter from age 23 till 38. That really sounds like a lifetime...

Indeed! I meant exactly this!
I saw it, I saw it. It was classic Carter. So naive, so cute and so funny. I so loved this show!
And just to prove the point.....

I love that scene more than I can tell!!!:
I think some of my favorite quotes on ER were between these two.
I love the: "I'm a good doctor because of you".. "No you're not, but keep trying".
And Carter's "I want you to know... that I owe you". It implies so much, it's true there's so much he owes Benton. It's just so simply put in that episode, and so well acted. Ah, I miss them...
And in All in the Family: "I'm glad it's you...". That was so powerful. Because of their background history, some really simple sentences between Carter and Benton become amazing.
If they manage to re-create a bit of that, 15.19 will be awesome!!!

One of my favourite scenes too. And Wells insists that March 12 episode is must to see for fans and I hope this means that we'll get some of those good moments.

"What we do" combined all of the worst aspects of what ER has become over the last couple of years.
Compared to Ambush, this group of reporters seemed amaturish and unprepared.
Carter's voice overs were needlessly melodramatic.
ER's writers have changed a charater's personality offscreen and just expect us to believe it.
I'll watch next week only because I think that Benton and Carter will be terrific together and I think that Susan Sarandon will do well. However, overall the ER producers have really loused up a good thing.

I like Carter. I thought that he really made the show special after Green died. I'm disappointed to see him so unhappy.
It's interesting because interracial relationships on ER never have a happy ending so we probably should have realized that Carter would end up with a broken marriage. Aside from that, I think Carter's return is great.

Carter's return has been good but overblown. I would have liked to see him do more with the clinic instead of seeing in pain and unhappy yet again.
As for your relationship observation, your right. Carter is a whiner like Abby. I hope she divorces Luka and 'gets Carter'.

Carter is a whiner like Abby. I hope she divorces Luka and 'gets Carter'. I don't get at all what you mean . When has Carter been a whiner about relationship? And he should get with Abby because they are both whiners? I don't see it at all... As for seeing him unhappy, I don't mind, as long as the story turns into one of hope in the end. I just want to see more of him ;D!! with whatever storyline! Just two more episodes to go with him, and I think I'll be disappointed and frustrated in the end. They are under-using him.

Carter's always unlucky in love and downtrodden just like another character. They deserve each other.

Guys, do you know that's a Carter/NOah fan board? If you don't like Carter, I'd like to inform you that's the wrong place to bash him.
