I hope I'm overacting.
Anyway a girl post this on LJ
I think what she wrote is quite right. My only concern is that this scene where Carter makes a speech about the opening of the Carter's center has been shooting in winter and usualy the show's finale is in summer or spring. This could mean all and nothing. I hope they don't kill Carter off but I also hope he's in the last episode, because, as you said Janet, this has been promised for so long.

Hey! It's my first time posting here. Thanks for all, and for those spoilers.
Since I read that Carter would have kidney problems, I was waiting for the news that he would get a transplant, especially since I read in the casting call for 15.19 that they were searching for some actors to play transplant surgeons. But I'm really not worried about Carter dying.
First, this episode will be 15.19 I think, so that makes it Noah's 4th appearance, and it was said in the promo that 15.16 was the first of 5 episodes. So he has to be in one more after that one.
Second, while they were filming in Chicago, it was said that Noah would be filming a scene where he makes a speech about the opening of the Carter's center. For some reasons, that doesn't seem to fit yet in any episode's description so far, so I expect that to be in the last episode.
And third, patients in renal failure can live for ever, if they get dialysis. I really don't think they justify killing Carter die from kidney problems, unless the operation goes wrong, but from the description the problem here seems more to be that the kidney can't arrive fast enough.
So all in all, I imagine it will be an episode 'full of suspense', where they will make some twists about 'will he' or 'won't he' get the transplant (and I imagine he will...) and then he'll be absent for a couple episodes while recovering, and seen again in the finale !
What I'm worried about though is that it sounds like Benton will appear only in that one. I was kinda hoping we would see him before, spotting Carter while he gets dialysis or something, as Noah let out long ago. From these spoilers, it can seem that Benton appears for the first time just know while learning that Carter gets a transplant...
Anyway, sorry I was so long. Keep up the excellent work!!!!
Claire.
