YKYOWN when you're working and using the font "Papyrus" over and over again in your text editor, even though it's not practical and makes a few things not easily readable on your screen, but you just like to use it because it's the same font as the one used in the opening credits of the Librarian movies, so that when you write "Newton's third law" you can't help but read "Noah Wyle" ;D (and you also hopelessly try to use Newton's third law in your lesson though it hasn't much to do with what you're teaching, but well... you know... "Yay!!! Newton!!!")

Claire! YKYCOWNW you know you're failing your physics class, so instead of studying, you make this banner, print it out and stick it on your notes... so you could look at it when you're studying for the finals (even though what you're studying has NOTHING to do with Newton's third law)

I love it! ;D You know, if you were my student, you'd get a A+ for life in all upcoming exams just for that banner ;D.

Thanks guys! Oooh I could actually use an A+ in physics. I'm ridiculously bad at math, physics and anything that has to do with numbers, which might be a slight disadvantage for, you know, a neuroscientist. Well, I guess I could always sign up to your class.. if you come teach in TAU. Actually now that I think about it, is it possible that my almost failing in physics is due to the time I spent staring at that banner instead of actually studying? Nah. On to other stuff, YKYCOWNW you accidentally type "noah" whenever you have to type a word that begins with "no". Good thing there aren't many of those words around... And YKY REALLYCOWNW when your browser picks your "most active" sites, and they are... (and it just so happens that you're watching an episode of ER when you take the screenshot.)

Gosh... we are identical twins on that... My Google Chrome looks quite exactly like yours ;D. And yep, I know about "No...". I actually have the same problem with anything finishing with "...rte" (quite often in french...). I can't help adding an R as a last letter ... (and when I think about it, I'm really not typing "Carter" so often anymore... but it's like imprinted in my fingers... )

You know you're obsessed with ER when you manage to incorporate it into every subject you're studying by trying to come up with examples from ER episodes. That's easy enough for the "medical" classes (where they actaully sometimes show us clips from ER in class because it's so relevant, and what a pleasure that is!), but less easily done when studying about chemistry and neural transduction.
And then you give up on trying to study and just rewatch the last few ER episodes (twisted train of thought: ion currents through membranes during synpases-->potassium channels-->potassium-->doesn't potassium have something to do with kidney failure?-->Oooh I know where I saw something like that...)
How sad is that? (and so now I'm watching the last episode. Maybe this time it'll end differently?)

[/li][li] You're on this board while you should be studying for exams. [/quote] or you have to work and the biggest part of your worktime you spend here ;D

Continuing on the topic of internet browser, I just started using Opera, which has a cool "Speed Dial" (equivalent to Chrome's most visited sites) that lets you pick any picture as a background ;D.

Totally random, there's "Road to Perdition" on my TV, and I just realized (even though I had already seen the movie...) that Paul Newman's stole Noah's "I'm glad it's you" (it's from 2002, so Noah was first!) Warning: totally spoiling scene if you haven't seen the movie and intend to one day! "I'm glad it's you" comes at 2:09 (... and other common point with ER, that street at the WB studio was quite used on ER... the lighted door to see in the back at 1:19 is where Doug Ross used to live ... ) YKYOWN when even a very dramatic scene in a movie puts a smile upon your face just because it has a quote that was also in Noah's mouth ;D.

Haha great clip, Claire! Seriously, how did you know that?! Last week there was this stupid documentary/true story thingy on tv that my brother was watching. There was a guy in a canoe trapped between a waterfall and a hippo and he was panicking. So when I saw that, I immediately said: *insert low voice with african accent* 'Hippo's love chocolate!' My whole family was looking at my like WTF?!
