Thanks Raffy! ;D I'm happy that they plan on shooting in a 'normal' city again ;D (and not in LA where people are used to it... ), where it's quite a big event, so that people talk about it (and don't take pictures of course! )

I saw that article but didn't actually read it carefully enough, apparently. That's an awesome description. I also got a laugh out of "... drama series that follows Noah Wyle as he attempts to lead a small group of plucky human survivors in a direction that does not involve their demise at the hands/tentacles/telekinesis of a bunch 'o genocidal extra-terrestrials"

and fingerless gloves! (what's up with that by the way? I love the look of it, but that looks like the 'bedraggled survivors' got a special offer on those!)

Actually that makes sense. It's like someone in the outfit department gave it a lot of thought... it seems to be cold enough, judging by the photos, and if there's one thing I remember from my army service, it's that the cold makes the rifle really painful to hold. The metal gets insanely cold, so you'd need gloves or something. And they can't be full gloves because, well, have you ever tried firing a rifle with gloves on? it makes it practically impossible to pull the trigger. That, and it makes him look so much more badass.

I actually thought it was making sense , and I was sort of waiting for an explanation from you, knowing you must be quite the only one around here with an army experience (who knew that it would one day help you comment on some Noah pictures ;D ?!) It's actually a simpler explanation than I thought... I thought maybe it's because of some vibrations, or the weight of the rifle on the hand palm... And yeah, the outfit department seems quite busy on this show, with all the extra, all with refugees outfits... Some people must have spent a lot of time destroying/dirtying some clothes . As for Tom Mason, they got it really right! I wonder how many outfits Noah must have tried (or is there someone about his size that serves as a model ?... )

So glad those years were not wasted! The weight shouldn't be a problem... the problem when using an automatic rifle is that it gets REALLY hot after firing it a couple of times (that's what the plastic around the barrel is for... but even that doesn't always help). So if it's winter outside, you're going to get frost bites from holding the rifle right before you shoot, and then you might get a burn because the barrel overheats. All in all, weapons are evil. Now that's a fun job, trying on clothes for celebs... I wonder how hard it'll be for them to maintain this apocalyptic feel throughout the series.

Thanks for explanations, Anna. ;D As for the outfit department I read a comment on Io9. This person complained about the fact that they weren't wearing colored clothes (I think some people really need to to find always something to complain about or they feel that their life is incomplete ) and I think that complaint was a nonsense. They're hiding in woodlands trying to escape the invaders....it would be uttelry stupid to wear colored clothes until they don't want to help the aliens to find and kill them easily.

Lol!!! makes total sense I always dreamed of seeing Noah in a post-apocalyptic survivor outfit made of flashy pink pants and a bright yellow shirt! Actually, even if survivors had only colored clothes left, they would look brownish 6 months after the invasion (unless they thought of saving a handful of washers and bottles of color-friendly detergent... that's priority stuff to keep when aliens are coming!! )

Oh, I'm sure the show would be much more cheerful with everyone running around in bright colorful clothes. It would also take about three minutes before they're all killed.
