Aha. See, again, that d*** season 11. How on earth did I manage to skip an entire season? I missed that episode, so yeah. It all makes much more sense now. ;D

I know that we said here that we were probably over-analyzing episodes to try to make sense of all, but I think they do a much stronger job of over-analysis at The ER Exchange... and actually, I quite like a few things that are said on this thread: theerexchange.yuku.com/reply/23053/t/15-22-And-in-the-End.html#reply-23053(even though they are Carbies I think, still deep in butterflies and the Chaos theory pattern... ) Anyway, that parallel I find a bit interesting: I have to admit something: I couldn't get myself to re-watch the finale yet . I saw the retrospective at least 10 times... but the finale... I can't... I'm still in denial that it was 'it' about Carter...

Wow, those are some good reviews. I like a lot of the points they bring up.
I didn't even think of that... that's true.
Perfectly said.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels like the episode missed something. it's been almost a month and I'm still incredibly upset about the way they wrapped things up with Carter. Or failed to. Not that it was a bad episode, but it wasn't the ending that ER deserved. It wasn't the ending that CARTER deserved. I wanted closure, or at least a sense that things are going to work out, and I didn't get that. I agree with almost every word that is written there.

I didn't either.. It's very true that Carter's marriage looks incredibly like his dad's. And that makes the finale even harder to swallow... I am still upset too... or I still don't know what to think rather . I don't know if I don't prefer to remember Carter leaving in the sunset and staying in Africa at the end of "The Lost", and deny all that happened after . I liked that ending...

The final ER episode is on More4 on 28th May at 9pm, and they are showing Previously on ER before the episode at 8:05pm as per the Radio Times website.

In Italy we'll watch the finale on 19th June but I doubt we'll get the retrospective too.... Ayway, UK fans, I've a question for you: there's a ER board for UK fans? Because the one I know it doesn't exist anymore and I was curious to know what UK fans think about the finale

Don't worry Raffy. I won't take it personally - lol - Given all the pleasure you have given me over the years, you are entitled to one little boob ;D
My post wasn't for general info, just a personal post expressing pleasure that in the UK I/we would be able to see the "retrospective" on Thursday 28th, since I haven't seen that yet .... also to thank Elizabethhill for the headsup.
It will be great to see "The End" again on a full screen. It will seem more like the real end to me. Perhaps there will be a tear or two. Of course there will be repeats, downloads etc , but it's not the same.
As I said in the deleted entry, the ER gods are thanking me for years of fathfull ( well not so faithfull in season 14) viewing since the pilot, by putting the end on during my half term -Thursday eves are usually choir practice for me, singing being my other love, other than Noah, that is - this means I can watch at the normal time, rather than staying up really, really late for the repeat. Still, as a true fanatic, I can remember times when I watched at 3am just to catch a repeat of one of my favourite Noah epis in the days before I had computers/DVDs. A true fanatic will suffer for her love, I guess.
Anyway, here's to the future, especially Noah's future

How long does the final episode go? 2 hours? But at the same time, I am so sad that it all ends. No more Carter.. Fortunately i got a couple of dvds.. I just started watching the first season again.... LOVELY ♥

I saw the final, final again last night. It was shown on UK TV. Now it really does feel like it's all over I hadn't seen the recaps clips show beforehand and it was mostly interviews rather than favourite scenes. They could have had more of them since most people didn't say anything that interesting , though it was nice to hear them all again.... with the glaring absence of comment from Clooney. I loved that they ended with a blown kiss from Noah. Ahhh...... I'm away for a few days, but I'll try and get a look at what you are doing keeping the Noah flame alive and kicking. Thanks to Raffy, Anna, Claire & Co

Because of my incredible dedication to failing every one of my exams this semester, I've decided to spend my day rewatching the finale... I'm sorry if this is the most random post ever, and nobody besides myself will probably find it amusing, but in the scene where the gang are saying goodbye outside the nightclub, right after the Carter/Benton hug... did anyone notice Susan's reaction? ... oh-kay... What just happened there? it's kinda hard to catch it in screencaps, but if you watch it, she has the cutest "wtf?" expression. You may now return to your lives.

I saw the last episode and I'm so sad because the relation between John and Kem is not happy.
