What matters maybe more for defining a 'good actor' is the opinion of his peers. And when you listen to directors or actors talking about working with Noah, they all find him very talented and amazing to work with . They must know better! Good thinking Eriq: "Noah wyle, genius, genius. One word that came from mine."

LOL Ignore them, they don't deserve consideration ;D Anyway, I agree it's matter of taste....I suppose there are people who think that Stamos's acting is good or even great.....personally I think his acting is terrible but like Claire says it's subjective....it's subjective for us but I suppose there's something of objective too if you consider that Noah got a lot of noms and Stamos didn't get anything.....but this doesn't mean that actors without noms are less talented than actors with noms or prizes...even if in this case it could be As for Noah what makes me think he's more than a good actor is that when he acts you don't see just an actor who says his lines with the right tone and performance. You see a character with a soul who, even if fictional, becomes real. That makes the difference for me

Very true. He can completely create a character, not just performances. In Noah's biography on A&E from some years ago (which I rewatched not long ago... ), Enough director Michael Apted says about Noah: "You don't see the wheels turning, you don't see him acting, you really believe he is who he says he is". That goes a bit with what Crichton said about Noah on comments on season 1 DVD, that Noah is such a good actor you don't realize how good he is.

Totally agree with what everyone said re: Noah's acting. But then again, I didn't really need to be convinced...
Claire, wasn't it on the A&E special that Noah talked about the circumsized thingy haircut? I had the whole thing on video tape (yes, that feels old...) but I have no hope of finding it now. *sigh*

Nope.. no mention of the haircut there . (Lol! at the automatic editor on this board switching pen!s with "thingy" ;D... ) I have it as a quite big .mpg. I will try to make it a bit smaller and put it on SendSpace or something like that . I was thinking about putting it on YouTube soon too...

I just made a 100Mb avi of it (not best quality, but the 400Mb mpg I have is not really any better). I'm putting the link right now in the 'restricted' area. Poor Raffy that you never saw it ! Then I'm double-glad I can share it ;D! It's really a treat for all Noah fans.

Hope Raffy wouldn't mind my random post. Here you go. A 100% real wakeup call from John Carter. DivShare File - Wakeup Call from Carter.mp3Oh, I can't wait to watch that video!...See ya!

You're very welcome! ;D I'm really glad I randomly talked about the A&E bio. I thought it was almost a 'given' that all Noah fans had seen it, but it's true it wasn't so easy to get at the time it was out... I'm really happy I could 'fix' the fact that some of you hadn't gotten to see it yet! ;D

No kidding! I remember it aired in Israel on some obscure channel that I didn't even have because you had to pay for it seperately. I went over to my friend's house because she had cable and held a tape recorder to the TV for the entire show... Just so I'd at least have the audio.... She still makes fun of me for that. And a few months after that they actually aired the special on one of the "regular" channels so I could catch it on a video tape, and I was the happiest girl in the world! Man, those were some good times. The things I did to get my hands on Noah clips... ;D ETA: spaceyume, that's one hell of a wakeup call! ;D Love it!

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do things like that . I did the same thing for some interviews, taking pictures of my tv screen and recording the audio with a mic... There just weren't videos online in those days!!! Thank God for YouTube ;D! Oh yeah... good old times !
