Bravo Raffy!!! ;D I'm realizing going through epguides.com that I don't really know all the titles of episodes of Seasons 4 and 5 , and for many episodes just from the title I can't tell what was Carter doing in them... and you know what? I'm all happy about that because it means there are episodes that I don't know by heart and I can re-discover some Carter scenes! I was amused to read that in the trivia for the episode "Hazed and Confused": Seriously? I have to hear that ;D! Funny they didn't cut it out... I had read about Sharif Atkins calling Carter "Noah" at a point, though I don't think I took the time to try to hear it , but I didn't know that one...

Oh yeah, I remember hearing that one. I thought he said "Noah", but it can also sound like "No, [blah blah blah]" so they probably thought it was safe to leave that in. I did not know about the Tony slip-up. Hmmmmph... wish I could investigate!

So from the epguides.com descriptions the episode with the seminar is "Think warm thoughts". I really don't remember that one so well at all... The description says: "Carter picks up an aspiring med student at a seminar he taught and brings her to the ER for a brief lesson." I have no idea what they are talking about... :-o.

I don't remember him taking her to the ER. I remember them leaving the "seminar" together, and I remember the storyline being dropped completely in the next episode. And for some reason I remember Weaver and that man she was dating, and something to do with a Car... and... that's about it. Man, I really don't remember seasons 5/6 (with the exception of the last few episodes of s6 and a couple of episodes from season 5 like the good fight). Interesting thing I didn't know, though- in the episode "good luck, ruth johnson" where the old lady celebrates her 100th episode, it's actually the show's 100th episode! That's so cute. ;D ETA: why does this not ring a bell? "Carter is in charge for the day, part of a requirement for applying for chief resident." from season 5, "point of origin". Huh? (also, we should maybe move this to another thread, lol...)

I remember that episode. The girl was really excited about the ER tour and Carter was excited for her excitment and so he did all his best to impress her But in the end she decided that ER is boring and that she prefered surgery and Carter really wasn't happy about it and got a cooling too! Poor Carter ;D

I've watched it again.....and I found out that the Mark's line they used for Carter's departure in season 11 "one day you'll look up....and maybe 10 year have passed" was in this one too!

I coud move them if ony I'd know HOW. I think I can just move the entire topic. But I could open a new thread "Cart-ER Remembered" in the TV Board so we can share all our thoughts about the past seasons.

This is not new, but I hadn't seen the tiny little introduction at the beginning yet: And this is really a classic. So cute to see Noah and Juliana holding hands... And Noah's perfect comic timing shines in the way he delivers: "He hires them time and time again both in front and behind the camera... we're told..." ;D The audience is really filled with laughter! His voice is also perfect when saying "the twilight of your life..."

Thank you, Claire! They both looked so cute! And let's hope George is going to "hire" Noah asap!

I've never heard of the Chairman's Awards, but it sounds neat. New goal in life: get my d**n B.A in science already so I can make some awesome robot and win one of these. Make Noah happy. (although to be honest he could be talking about the life cycles of bugs in Indonesia and I'd still find it fascinating.) I just love how completely un-hollywood it is. It's like when you're an actor and people look up to you, you can use that power for good or for bad. And you can use it to promote products and do commercials for iphones and coke and whatnot... OR you can use it to try and spread awareness on global issues, stuff that really matters. I love that Noah chose that way. It's what sets him apart.

I love that too. As his brother puts it in the A&E Bio, he beats to his own drummer: "Noah saw always the things his way, not in a bad way, just his own way..." It doesn't matter if it makes him look nerdy, he supports things that are important to him . I really don't think he does it in a self-serving way at all, as is the case for many other celebrities embracing causes. I love that he wants to participate in a program to get health insurance for everyone. It's really a totally non-glamorous issue, can be very unpopular, but it's an extremely important problem. I also like, in the Air America interview that you posted Anna, that he is aware that his political positions make him look like "another lefty Hollywood communist" to some, and that it can be deserving the cause sometimes (Hollywood didn't help John Kerry at all... rather the opposite, and they didn't make the same mistake with Obama... ). He is not self-serving, he is aware of where he can help and where he can't, he is very well informed about the causes he supports... very good way to do it

I suppose a bunch of those kids called him.....
Kids: Hi, Noah....would you like to do a very very nerdy video about a bunch of really nerdy kids and their robots? Noah: OF COURSE.
Speaking about a really unapproachable celebrity. ;D

It can also have a link with Noah's grandfather and father and their Wyle Laboratories (they do mainly electronics I think...). Now that I think about it, I remember reading long ago that the "Noah Wyle Foundation" was supporting such a robotics competition. Must have been that ...
