I'm really not so sure how to comment on this one The plot is interesting, but there were so many details bothering me that I actually didn't like the episode so much... (and one of the main things bothering me is that I can really hardly understand Connor Jessup... I re-played and re-played his scenes and still couldn't 'guess' half of what he was saying... Is it just me? ) Maybe I should just re-watch when I'm in better mood or better rested

I liked this episode! Here, I didn't look the details, I let myself be carried away by the story Just the special effect in Jimmi by Mech I watch with subtitles so I can not say... Indeed, it can help ;D

I'm with Claire on this one... One of my least favorites so far. Something just didn't work for me. Subtitles. *nods* I can hardly understand what MOST of them say without subtitles, it's the accent. One thing that really bothered me that I can put my finger on--- you can really feel Hal getting the short end of the stick in this episode. When he tells his father that he wants to go with the rest of the kids, Tom's first reaction is "THEY'LL be fine, you don't have to protect them". It's as if the thought didn't cross his mind for a second that Hal might want to get away for his own sake, or that Hal himself might be safer away from the skitter invasion force. I don't know what to think about the episode. And I don't get what's going on with the skitters at all, at this point, I've given up on trying to form a theory. Also, was that 2 or 3 hugs? I think I may need to have another drink.

3 hugs
The problem I had with this epi was that it was obvious to me what would happen at the end, not in detail, perhaps, but I wouldn't have trusted a lone guy, even if I did know him, without proof that there were other soldiers at another camp. If I was suspicious about letting all the children go with him, why wasn't Tom, or Weaver? I wasn't at all surprised. It seemed obvious to me.
I do like Ann more and more ( though the getting to love guns less) and the tension between civilians and the leaders is brewing nicely. I can see where tension between Hal and Tom may come from and I like the family dynamic, but so far the main plot is a bit too obvious. They need to get a bit cleverer I think.
THe balance between action and drama is good, though

Okay Sanctuary Part 1.... I like a lot in this episode...i like Noah`s acting during the scene with Ben, you see how important that question was to him, he really want to know the truth and i can`t imagine how he had react, if Ben had told him, he wasn`t happy for the rescue... and his struggle, either send the kids away for their safety or be with them even when they had to fight an alien attack in their home and could die...and i like the action scene in the bus and in school with Jimmy...but i don`t like the predictable of this episode, the moment this guy from the 7th Mass draw up the plan to take all the kids under 20 with him to a save area, you knew that something bad going down, but i have to admitt i didn`t see it that bad...humans join forces with aliens...i know for his own survival but wth? I can`t believe he trade Eli to the skitters...and Megan, she was pretty creepy... So that brings me to Pope, i hope he regret telling the 7th Mass where the kids are, and i hope he help our kids to fight back..and I am sure they will... I was wondering why the leader want Mike to join them...i think he will be against that alliance...he is a risk...so why keeping him close? Because of Rick? And the hugs...gosh...a lot in this episode...*smirk* And Hal...i like the promise he gave his mom to look out for his dad....work in progress...i wonder if he talk to Ben about his odd behavior? So i really like this episode, it was good! But next week...oh I`m really exicted

Haha, the hugs are such a joke. I wish they would stop doing it. You don't need 10,000 hugs to portray a father and his children loving each other. There are so many more subtle means and that way when a hug does occur once in while, it would be so much more poignant and special. Here, I get taken out of my element because it just starts looking funny.

That was my favourite episode so far...well it seems that every new episode is settled to become my favourite episode because every episode looks better than the previous one so I suppose next episode is going to be my NEW favourite episode really soon....what the hell am I writing? I don't know! I need vacation! ;D I think that almost every character is growing on me. Anne, Margaret, Jimmy.... I also like that finally we'll see Weaver to show some "new" emotions which finally allow Patton to show new facial expressions You're right, but fortunally I watched it with italian subs....I think he's good but needs a lot of speech training! And there's one single member of Mason family who's not CUTE? LOL
