I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE ALREADY!!! (that's a big statement, I wonder what she's basing that on...) A short prayer to the movie gods: Oh please, PLEASE let this movie be as good as they say it is, please please please...

ER's pilot? She had to miss the rest or I can't understand how she can say so I suppose those "reviews" are not so "neutral". I suspect they're are Tanna Frederick "friends".But even if they're partial I can't think there's nothing to justify their enthusiams besides Tanna Frederick. I quote Janet: "Even if this movie is only half as good as this review, it sounds fantastic."

Well, we're not exactly neutral either, are we...? and right now I'll take even a bad movie from Noah as long as I actually get to WATCH him on screen, so it'll be very, very hard to disappoint me with this one even if it's only moderately okay (and I suspect it's better than that). For all I care, he could have a single scene wearing an Avocado suit and juggling tennis balls, with the rest of the movie being a black and white anime about ducks, and I'd still be okay with it. That's how low my expectations are at this point. Just give us SOMETHING, you know? anything... (so now I'm imagining Noah dressed like an avocado. Well done, brain, well done.)

LOL!! ;D I feel quite the same... I don't have big expectations about this movie at all, aside from the fact that it seems to have more than one scene with Noah. But a lot of the reviews and praising seem indeed to be coming for people close to Tanna Frederick... You know, just putting "Enough" as a reference for his filmography shows a great knowledge of his career... not At least they spelt his name right! Talking about juggling avocado, I have the feeling that I know from something that Noah can juggle, but I can't put my finger on where I know it from... Any idea?

Raffy- imagine an avocado WITH a hat! That bothered me too... That's because we definitely saw him juggle in the first Librarian movie (when Judson shows him the goose that lay the golden eggs, he's juggling the golden eggs. you can see it from minute 4:00, but I'm pretty sure it was in the 'regular' scene, too). and we saw Carter juggle. I think it was in one of the early episodes of ER, though I can't even remember which season. Nobody ever commented on that or anything, but I have a clear memory of Carter walk through the corridor juggling bandages or whatever. Now THAT scene might be a little harder to find... might take some time.

Thanks Anna! ;D Indeed, it felt to me like it was not something all new... and that there was some juggling on ER. Some bandages in an early season feel familiar indeed!

I don't know if it was already here before or if I just noticed it now...there's an audio file on the website. And I already found out that the song plaied is "You Oughta Be In Pictures". And I like it ;D queenofthelot.com/That's a slower version... "You Oughta Be In Pictures" From the show "Ziegfield Follies Of 1934" (Edward Heyman / Dana Suesse) Little Jack Little & His Orch. - 1934 Rudy Vallee & His Connecticut Yankees - 1934 The Boswell Sisters - 1934 Also recorded by: Ray Conniff Singers; Sammy Kaye & His Orch.; Roy Fox & His Orch.; Eddie Miller & His Orch. You oughta be in pictures, You’re wonderful to see, You oughta be in pictures, Oh what a hit you would be! Your voice would thrill a nation, Your face would be adored, You’d make a great sensation with wealth and fame your reward; And if you should kiss the way you kiss, When we’re alone, You’d make ev’ry girl and man A fan worshiping at your throne. You oughta shine as brightly As Jupiter and Mars; You oughta be in pictures, My star of stars.

From an interview with Tanna Frederick Q- How excited are you for our upcoming “Queen of the Lot” to be released on November 18, in Hollywood?A-“Thrilled! I really love the film. I love dealing with the subject matter from addiction to substances, to love, to money, to fame. And it’s very prevalent to issues happening right now (obviously). My character is under house arrest and been arrested for driving loaded twice, and she’s looking to deal with that dark space that is stuck in a person’s psyche that triggers the addictions. She needs to escape her life, so she needs to deal with why she’s not satisfied when everything she’s always wanted and now finally has it all in her life. “But more than that it’s a fantastic love story, a messy love story, and I’m a sucker for an imperfect love story. So it is material I love. Noah Wyle is brilliant in the film and a brilliant romantic leading man. He’s got a lot of substance as an actor, he’s a rock, and he’s a gentleman, in that old Hollywood way, but with the attitude of a late night talk show host (and I mean that in the best way). The combo is some great science experience blasting its way onto film.” www.canyon-news.com/artman2/publish/Film/Catching_Up_With_Tanna_Frederick_Exclusive_printer.php

... that's one I've never heard before. Alright, alright, so we know everyone's really excited and optimistic about the movie, and apparently Noah is an amazing Romantic leading man (would be nice if it's true- I don't actually remember him ever in a romantic leading role in a movie. No, The Librarian doesn't count)... now can we just get to see this movie and make up our own minds?
