I just saw that too! This is hilarious! ;D We can guess it's Noah filming when JP Manoux is asking questions and vice versa... And I must say, Noah does a better job at it! I love the part where Noah pretends to be George... And at least, even if some don't know his name, people are 'recognizing' him ;D. I was wondering at the beginning of the clip if anybody would... I love Noah's laugh at 2:33... and his "look what you started now... " at 3:03... The woman saying "hi George... who's George?" is also hilarious!

I love how that man kept referring to him as George and I love Noah not correcting him... ;D So awesome! "Who's George Clooney?!" indeed... Thanks for digging this up, Raffy!

Thanks Raffy. That was so funny and I've never seen it before. Also it was filmed in my town. I wish I'd been there in 1995 - I could have been .... Ahhh.......

Janet, would you have known who was George in 1995? And Noah? ;D

Yes, just about. I watched ER from the beginning and George's name was known from the start, but not Noah's. We may not have got ER till 1995, although it started in the US in 1994, but George Clooney became known straight away, though not the mega star he became later, of course. I think I may just have known Noah as Dr Carter for a few months, but I remember looking for his name at the credits very early on, because he was my favourite from the first. and I remember noting the name, though I had no idea how it was pronounced then, and I had never heard of him before, that's for sure. Perhaps ER was still more of a minority interest than it was later, so there probably was a lot less publicity about its actors, but us true fanatics were already hooked. I'm sure of that.

True fan! It took me about three episodes since I started watching to notice his name in the credits and go look up his biography. I knew well enough who George Clooney was by that time, but it was still only around season 5/6... Of course it wasn't as easy as it is now, since I had to go looking for a computer with internet access, which was pretty rare back then... And of course ER has never been a phenomenon here like it was in the US. I mean it was aired, but that's about as far as it went. I only learned a few years later that he'd visited my country in '95 and of course I was way too young to be an ER fan back then but it still feels like a missed opportunity. The funny thing is, if he returns to the area these days, I'm sure he still wouldn't get recognized all that much.

In Italy ER was almost instantly a big hit. And George Clooney quickly became a female fans' idol. But I have to say that Carter and Greene were the fans' favourites. Noah is not as famous as George here. But he's not totally unknown, that's for sure As for me as soon I got internet I started to collect info about Noah.

Hey guys! I'm sooo sorry for my long absence and to have missed such interesting ER discussions. But I had to postpone the finishing date for my bachelor thesis and it all was a little chaotic in the end. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I passed my final oral exam to my bachelor thesis about 3 weeks ago (I'll officially get my degree this Friday though) and I'm busy applying for jobs right now. But in the meantime I wanted to thank you all for wishing me good luck and crossing your fingers for me. Looks like it helped. So here is a first try to make up for the past few months: - You'll know the main show parts, but you hopefully won't know the 3rd one to appear on the red carpet. - ;D
