Oh yeah, I was really surprised at the moment when he said "Come on..." to Weaver with this sparkle in his eyes. It's weird when you think about it. He's about to do something that might turn out to be suicidal. "Let them know we are here"... Hmmm. Why? Could just leave quietly and go back to the school. Really not his usual reasonable way. Which nicely sets the end of the episode. Tom is in a state of mind where he is ready to do something not reasonable at all. He said bye to his sons, he let Anne know that he wants her to take care of them and that he has feelings for her. All in all, he is ready. I just wonder why it came at this point (aside from it being practical for the season finale :
