Wasn't it supposed to be shown at an Iowa film Festival created by Tanna Frederick or something? The latest I read again from her was that the movie still needed a few weeks to be done... That one is really taking forever! I hope they re-work a bit the poster too... That one looks quite amateurish so far

I'm also not so fond of the poster, but we have a premiere date at least And I fear the entire movie is quite amateurish...

The Hollywood Exclusive: Jaglom Touts Wyle Performance, Pooh-Poohs Tabloid TalesMarilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith Henry Jaglom is looking forward to unveiling a heretofore unseen Noah Wyle when his "Queen of the Lot" hits screens, beginning in October. Says the esteemed indie filmmaker, "He totally breaks that 'ER' image. He shows enormous depth and has a quality about him like those old movie stars -- Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda -- a kind of earnestness and charm." (well, I don't think he didn't show depth on ER and I remember that people already called him the new Jimmy Stewart at ER time )Speaking of his leading lady, Tanna Frederick, Jaglom adds that Wyle also "sparks with Tanna to an amazing degree. She's really met her match here." That sparking ignited tabloid reports that had the "Queen of the Lot" couple continuing their burning passion off camera, particularly as Wyle and his wife of 11 years separated last year. However, Jaglom is quick to say, "They made that up. Nobody was more surprised than Noah and Tanna to see that. It's kind of a tribute to their chemistry; people would like it to be real." I'd say more a tribute to the human rubbish. d**ned NE We erred the other day in indicating that Wyle, as well as some others in the "Queen of the Lot" cast, were playing themselves. He's playing the kind of reporter who covers celebrity scandals, as a matter of fact. Jaglom stresses, "I surrounded Tanna and Noah with such a great supporting cast, I want to be sure they get credit." That cast includes Peter Bogdanovich, playing a "down-on-his-luck director" who is a member of the multi-generational Hollywood family at the heart of the movie. The matriarch is played by Kathryn Crosby, aka Kathryn Grant, aka Bing Crosby's widow. Mary Crosby is playing the daughter. Dennis Christopher of "Breaking Away" also has a role. "It's a backstage look at the breakdown of the Hollywood studio system through this family." And Frederick's starlet character, Margie -- who now goes by Maggie -- is "a young woman trying to figure out a way to reconstitute it," Jaglom says. "Queen of the Lot" is the sequel to Jaglom's 2007 "Hollywood Dreams," which has acquired a cult following thanks to Frederick's fearless performance and Jaglom's way with Hollywood insider content. Don't be surprised if there's a third Maggie film. First, though, he's making the movie version of his play "Just 45 Minutes From Broadway" -- shooting now -- with Frederick starring and Mary Crosby also in the cast.

Thanks for the review, Raffy. I have to say that every time I start to get a little excited about this movie, I realize the cr@p that it led to and hate it that much more. *sigh* I know it's not really the film's fault, but rather human stupidity (or NE stupidity) but I can't lose the memory of NE using a picture from the film to "prove" their stupid scoop. I'm not sure I could actually watch this one without going into fits of rage that have nothing to do with the film itself. And it's too bad because if you ignore the circumstances, it really sounds like one of his better performances. and how often has he had a really big part in a film that actually worked? Oh yeah, because we really didn't see any of that on ER.

I know what you mean, Anna. NE wrote just a bunch of rubbish and it's not movie's fault but I can't stop to think that it was someone related to the movie who started the thing. Or I can't explain how NE could get never seen movie stills from a still incomplete indie movie . Probably I'm wrong but this story just looks to me like a second rate Jolie/Pitt marketing strategy. Anyway if I'll be able to get the movie I'll watch it

Thanks for the review Raffy! ;D I love your added comments ;D! Totally spot on! *sings* "...always look on the bright side of life..." That may have been publicity for the movie indeed, but it can also be someone else... Someone just had to find the pictures of the premiere of Irene in Time (and they were easy to find) to totally make up something ... If it hadn't been those pictures, this "someone" may have searched for any other pictures of Noah close to someone else... (and actually, I could have preferred if all they had found was this picture... Look at those eyes! if that's not love... would have made a nice story )

LOL! They love each other and there are a lot of proofs around the web ;D Yes. Someone who needs "money" or someone just psychologically unstable.

Oh no you didn't! That one I could actually believe! Judging by pure chemistry alone, there could definitely be something going on there. For what it's worth, I really don't think it was meant as a publicity stunt for the movie. Maybe I'm just a suspicious person who always sees the dark motives behind everything, but that feels way more personal and more targeted than a publicity stunt would be. But I'm not going to discuss that because whatever they tried to do, they failed.

Thank you Raffy! ;D
More than one outfit on Noah for that movie, and Jaglom talking like his role is important... Hmmm... that one doesn't look like a 'blink and you miss him' movie at least! ;D

Thank you Raffy ;D I'm very curious about the trailer, it'll probably let us know a bit more what this movie is about ... So far from the pictures it looks like just Tanna & Noah, Noah & Tanna, Tanna & Noah and that other guy, the other guy with Noah & Tanna...
